Northridge Security Deposit Law

California’s security deposit law is strict and often challenging. Many landlords find it overly tenant-friendly. At Core Alliance, we take away all the worry and all the fear. Tenants expect their security deposit to be returned in full, and the law requires that we do it within 21 days of move-out. To expedite the process and eliminate confusion, we remind tenants of their responsibilities before they move out so they’re not surprised if we withhold security deposit funds for cleaning and repairs.   • Creating inspection reports with photos.
